The Church joyfully recalls the Cannonization of Saint Katharina Kasper, foundress of the Congregation of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ. She was declared Saint by Pope Francis on 14th October 2018 in Rome. Her life of humility, deep faith, and service to the poor continues to inspire many in their mission and commitment to God. The congregation gives thanks for her exemplary life and prays for her canonisation and continued intercession.
